	Amtrak Adds Wi-Fi to More East Coast Trains Responding to strong passenger interest, Amtrak is launching today a major expansion of its free AmtrakConnect Wi-Fi service to 12 East Coast routes. As a result, trains that carry nearly 60 percent of all Amtrak passengers now have Wi-Fi connections. This phase of Wi-Fi expansion includes Northeast Regional trains, the most popular Amtrak service, which operates daily between Virginia and Boston. Learn More Amtrak Virginia Joins the Presidents Passport Program Amtrak Virginia has joined the Presidents Passport—a travel program offering tourists special promotions, discounts and travel tips for visits to the Charlottesville area in 2012. Amtrak Virginia’s Northeast Regional Service, which provides convenient service from the Northeast Corridor to Charlottesville, has joined the Presidents Passport as a travel sponsor offering 40 percent off companion fares on trips to and from Charlottesville.
